(Book of Matthew) Yeah I'd say that's happening right now! You think you know someone, and they completely blind-side you. We live in a beautiful world.
An excerpt from another Facebook message to me from Pastor Dan...
"....until then, let me encourage you with these words:
'And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.' (Philippians 1:6)"
WOW!
To GROW is to become mature or experienced; to increase in size or substance.
If you're not moving forward, then you're falling backward. Once you make the commitment of being a Christian, it is necessary to continue to grow or become like Christ in your thoughts, your actions, and your life.
And a note about these photos:
Old friends from my highschool days built this swing with a tow strap and 2 wooden disks. The strap can tow 2,000 pounds; it's the tree branch that you have to put your faith in. It took a few hours to get everything set up, but it's oh so fun and it's something that everyone should try at least once! I've been there twice and can't wait to go back again.
